Filling
  • 4 oz American Cheese Halved for the perfect melt.
  • 20 pieces Frozen Mini Meatballs Thaw completely before using.
Pretzel Crust
  • ¼ cup Baking Soda Essential for the pretzel crust.
  • 4 cups Water For the baking soda bath.
Finishing Touch
  • 1 large Egg (beaten) Gives a shiny finish.

Optional Dipping Sauce

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the pizza dough into 14 equal pieces and roll each piece into 8-inch strips.
  3. Place a piece of American cheese and a thawed mini meatball at one end of the dough strip, then tightly roll it up and seal the seams.
  4. In a large pot, bring about 4 cups of water to a gentle boil and stir in ¼ cup of baking soda until dissolved. Boil each bomb for 20-30 seconds.
  5. Remove the bombs with a slotted spoon, place on the baking sheet, and brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly and serve warm with yellow mustard for dipping.
