Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by washing your apples thoroughly. Slice the apples into ½-inch wedges, ensuring to remove the core and seeds.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon to create a spice blend.
  3. Prepare your breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with half of the cinnamon-sugar in a third bowl.
  4. Dredge each apple slice in flour, then dip in beaten egg, and finally press into the panko mixture.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the coated apple slices in a single layer and lightly spray with cooking spray. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture while still hot. Serve immediately with dipping sauces.
