  • 1 tablespoon Extra Chives Sprinkle on top.
  • 1 dash Additional Black Pepper To enhance flavor.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, minced spring onion, chopped chives, lemon juice, lemon zest, and freshly cracked black pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Select firm English cucumbers and wash thoroughly. Slice them into 1/2 inch thick rounds. Pat each slice dry with a paper towel.
  3. Spread the creamy herb mixture over each cucumber slice, then place a piece of thinly sliced smoked salmon on top.
  4. Garnish with additional chopped chives and black pepper. Chill briefly in the refrigerator before serving.
