Instructions for Seafood Lasagna
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in minced garlic, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes. Cook until fragrant.
- Deglaze the pan with white wine and simmer until reduced by half.
- Add heavy cream, stir, and let it thicken slightly.
- Fold in lobster and shrimp, cooking until heated through.
- Season with salt and black pepper, then set aside to cool.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer lasagna noodles, seafood mixture, ricotta, and mozzarella in the baking dish.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with seafood mixture on top.
- Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Allow lasagna to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
- Serve with a crisp white wine.
