Preparation Steps
- Lay a sheet of plastic wrap on a clean, flat surface and sprinkle sesame seeds evenly across.
- Overlap slices of smoked salmon to form a rectangular sheet about 10 by 6 inches.
- Spread whipped cream cheese over the salmon, covering it completely. Sprinkle chopped chives and lemon zest over the cream cheese.
- Place thin slices of avocado and cucumber along one long edge of the salmon.
- Lift and roll the salmon over the filling, tucking it in tightly as you go. Twist the ends of the plastic wrap to seal.
- Chill the wrapped roll ups in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
- Remove the plastic wrap and slice the roll into twelve pieces. Serve immediately or store for later.
