  • 1 tsp Fresh Thyme Dried thyme works too if fresh isn’t available
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper Adjust to taste
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or mozzarella recommended

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and chop the vegetables.
  2. Sauté sweet potatoes, onion, and green bell pepper for 8-9 minutes. Add garlic in the last 1-2 minutes.
  3. Transfer sautéed vegetables to a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  4. Brown the turkey sausage in the same skillet for 5-7 minutes, then mix with the vegetables.
  5. Whisk eggs, milk, thyme, salt, pepper, and cheese together until smooth.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the vegetable and sausage blend and bake for 40-45 minutes.
  7. Let the casserole sit for 5-10 minutes after baking before serving.
