Equipment

  • mixing bowls
  • Whisk
  • spatula
  • parchment paper

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla protein powder, coconut flour, and a pinch of salt. Stir the dry ingredients together using a whisk until they are well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the melted coconut oil, plant-based milk, agave syrup (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Whisk these ingredients vigorously until the mixture is smooth and well-blended.
  3. Once your wet ingredients are ready, pour them into the bowl containing the dry ingredients. Use a spatula to fold the mixtures together until they are thoroughly combined and form a uniform dough.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped almonds to the protein mixture using your spatula.
  5. Using your hands, take small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls. Place them on a parchment-lined baking tray.
  6. To prevent sticking, roll each formed ball in additional coconut flour until they’re lightly dusted.
  7. Place the tray of coated Vanilla Protein Balls in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours to firm up.
