  • 2 cloves garlic Minced
  • 1 pinch red chili flakes Adjust for heat
  • ½ cup white wine Can substitute with vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste For richness
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Herb blend
  • 200 ml water Can use reserved gnocchi water
  • 2 handfuls fresh spinach Can substitute with kale or arugula
  • 100 grams cream cheese Use brick-style
For the Finishing Touch
  • 150 grams hot smoked salmon Flaked
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley For garnish

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add finely chopped shallot and sauté until soft.
  3. Incorporate minced garlic and chili flakes, cooking until fragrant.
  4. Deglaze the pan with white wine, allowing it to bubble and reduce.
  5. In a pot, boil salted water and cook gnocchi until they float.
  6. Return to skillet, add water, tomato paste, and Italian seasoning.
  7. Add fresh spinach, cooking until wilted.
  8. Mix in cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  9. Fold in gnocchi and smoked salmon gently.
  10. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving with parsley.
