- In a mixing bowl, combine 8 oz of chopped imitation crab or crab meat, 6-8 oz of cream cheese, 2 minced cloves of garlic, and 2 chopped green onions. Add 2 tsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of garlic powder, and season with salt and black pepper. Mix everything until the filling is smooth and well-blended.
- Take a wonton wrapper and place it on a clean, flat surface. Scoop a spoonful of the crab filling into the center of the wrapper, making sure not to overfill. Brush the edges lightly with water, then fold the wrapper over to form a pouch, pinching the edges tightly to seal.
- Set your air fryer to preheat at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Once preheated, arrange the assembled crab rangoon in a single layer in the basket. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray. Cook at 350°F for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
