Step-by-Step Instructions for Beef Stuffed Shells
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the jumbo pasta shells until al dente, about 9-11 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook diced onion until translucent, then add ground beef and garlic, cooking until browned.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the beef mixture with ricotta, Parmesan, egg, and parsley. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Stuff cooked pasta shells with the filling and place them in the dish.
- Pour remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let the dish rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes
For the best flavor, use fresh cheeses. Chill assembled shells before baking for a make-ahead option.
