Step-by-Step Instructions for Beef Stuffed Shells
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the jumbo pasta shells until al dente, about 9-11 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook diced onion until translucent, then add ground beef and garlic, cooking until browned.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the beef mixture with ricotta, Parmesan, egg, and parsley. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Stuff cooked pasta shells with the filling and place them in the dish.
  6. Pour remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let the dish rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
