- Tear day-old croissants into bite-sized pieces and spread them evenly across the greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips generously over the torn croissants.
- In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the large eggs, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined and slightly frothy.
- Pour the egg mixture over the croissant pieces and chocolate chips, then gently tap the dish on the counter.
