  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce or soy sauce

For the Cheese and Rolls
  • 8 slices Provolone Cheese or other cheese like cheddar or mozzarella
  • 4 hoagie rolls Hoagie Rolls or French rolls
For Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or any cooking oil

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Drizzle olive oil into a large skillet over medium-high heat. Allow the oil to warm until it shimmers.
  2. Add sliced onions and green bell peppers to the skillet. Sauté for 3-5 minutes until the onions turn translucent.
  3. Push the vegetables to one side, add the ground beef, and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Sprinkle in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; stir for about 2 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low, place provolone cheese on top, cover, and allow to melt for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Slice hoagie rolls lengthwise without cutting all the way through.
  7. Scoop the beef and vegetable mixture into each hoagie roll.
  8. Serve hot, optionally toasting the sandwiches in the skillet for a crispy finish.
