- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and Italian sausage. Cook for 7-10 minutes until browned.

- Combine ricotta cheese, an egg, and half of the grated parmesan in a medium bowl. Mix until smooth.
- In a baking dish, start layering: marinara sauce, lasagna noodles, ricotta mixture, and shredded mozzarella. Repeat and end with marinara and mozzarella.
- Cover the assembled lasagna with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbling.
- Let the lasagna cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
