Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and Italian sausage. Cook for 7-10 minutes until browned.
  3. Once the meat is cooked, pour in the marinara sauce and stir to combine. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Combine ricotta cheese, an egg, and half of the grated parmesan in a medium bowl. Mix until smooth.
  5. In a baking dish, start layering: marinara sauce, lasagna noodles, ricotta mixture, and shredded mozzarella. Repeat and end with marinara and mozzarella.
  6. Cover the assembled lasagna with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbling.
  7. Let the lasagna cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
