  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon adjust to taste or omit
  • 1 cup Apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith) mix with other varieties for variety
  • 1 cup Arugula optional; spinach or other greens can be used

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients and equipment.
  2. Carefully slice the croissants horizontally with a serrated knife to create a pocket.
  3. In a bowl, combine softened goat cheese, honey, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Spread the goat cheese mixture over the bottom half of each croissant.
  5. Layer thin slices of fresh apples on top of the goat cheese mixture.
  6. Optionally, add a handful of fresh arugula or preferred greens over the apple slices.
  7. Reassemble the sandwich by placing the top half back on.
  8. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until warmed through.
