Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Scrub the potatoes under running water, dry them, and poke holes with a fork. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with kosher salt.
  2. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 55-65 minutes until the skins are crisp and a fork easily pierces the flesh.
  3. Cut the steak into ½-inch bite-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter, and sear half of the steak bites for about 2 minutes. Repeat with remaining steak.
  4. Tent steak bites with foil to keep warm. Melt remaining butter in the skillet, scrape up brown bits, and pour over the cooked steak.
  5. Remove baked potatoes from the oven, slice open lengthwise, and fluff the insides. Top generously with steak bites and your favorite toppings.
