Step-by-Step Instructions for Miso Butter Salmon
- Make the Miso Butter by mixing softened unsalted butter, white miso paste, brown sugar, freshly grated ginger, and minced garlic in a bowl until creamy.
- Prepare the Salmon by preheating your oven to 375°F or air fryer to 400°F. Line baking dish with parchment paper, pat salmon dry, and spread an even layer of miso butter over each fillet.
- For Cooking in the Oven, place salmon fillets in preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until opaque and flakes easily with a fork, optionally broiling for 1-2 minutes at the end.
- For Cooking in the Air Fryer, place coated salmon in preheated basket and cook for approximately 9-10 minutes without flipping until opaque and flakes easily.
- Serve and Garnish by removing the salmon from the oven or air fryer, drizzling with remaining miso butter, and garnishing with freshly sliced green onions.
