- In a medium bowl, combine the unsalted butter, white miso paste, brown sugar, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sliced green onions. Mash until well combined and creamy.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the miso butter evenly over the top of each fillet.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the salmon for 12 to 15 minutes until opaque and flaky. Optionally, broil for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
- For air fryer: Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Cook salmon fillets for 9 to 10 minutes until golden and flaky.
- Remove salmon from the oven or air fryer, transfer to a serving platter, and drizzle remaining miso butter on top. Garnish and serve.
