  3. In a large skillet, brown ground beef for 6-8 minutes. Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Combine ricotta cheese, beaten egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
  5. In a baking dish, spread a layer of meat sauce, then noodles, half of the ricotta, and a third of mozzarella. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles and sauce topped with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden-brown.
