Burger Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, finely chopped onion, diced jalapeño, honey, smoked paprika, thyme, cumin, and salt. Mix gently until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into 3-4 equal portions and shape them into patties about ¾ inch thick. Make an indentation in the center to prevent shrinkage.
- Refrigerate the formed patties for about 15 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, add oil, and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach 165°F.
- While the patties cook, prepare the avocado crema by blending avocado, sour cream or Greek yogurt, cilantro, lime juice, and salt until smooth.
- Lightly toast the hamburger buns in the skillet for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the burgers by spreading avocado crema on the bottom bun, placing a turkey burger patty on top, adding corn salsa, and garnishing with more cilantro.

Notes
For the best flavor and texture, avoid overmixing the burger ingredients and refrigerate the patties before cooking. Adjust spice levels as needed by modifying the jalapeño quantity.
