  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger grated or minced
  • 1 cup White rice Jasmine or Basmati
  • 1 cup Pineapple chopped, fresh or frozen
For the Flavor
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha or favorite red chile sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut aminos gluten-free soy sauce substitute
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut sugar or regular sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to enhance flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Red chile flakes optional for extra heat
For Cooking
  • 1.75 cups Water for cooking rice

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat oil in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add uncooked Jasmine or Basmati rice, stirring frequently to toast for about 2 minutes.
  3. Mix in chopped pineapple, sriracha, coconut aminos, and coconut sugar, stir for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in water and bring to a boil, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Turn off heat, let sit covered for 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork.
